The City of Portsmouth Scouts are joint owners of the Solent Scout Training Centre at Lyons Copse, Shedfield, Hampshire which is situated in the lovely Meon Valley.

The Scout Training Centre is within easy reach of Portsmouth, Southampton and Winchester. Consists of 38 acres of camping grounds with adjoining woodland. It can accommodate Expeditions, Patrols, Troop, District or County camps, training event and day visits. Lyons Copse offers a great deal in a true rural setting in the heart of Hampshire.
